What is backflow and how do I prevent it?
Backflow valves, prevention and annual testing are required to protect the water supply from being contaminated by any foreign liquids or products that could inadvertently siphon back into the water lines.

SA Water & the Office Of The Technical Regulator require that certain types of backflow valves be fitted to water lines. Depending on what the level of hazard is, will determine what type of backflow valve will be required to be installed. Examples of backflow valve installation locations include but not restricted to irrigation, fire hose reels, medical facilities, pan rooms, plant rooms etc.

Whether it comes to leaking taps, a leaking toilet, blocked drains or problems with your hot water system, our old fashioned, reliable service will have you back and running in no time.

All backflow valves are required to have regular servicing and testing to ensure that the valve is in good condition and is performing the tasks that is designed to do.
The Office Of The Technical Regulator have a register of valves and do regular checks to see if the valves are up to standard.

Not all plumbers are certified to undertake this line of work but rest assured we have the added plumbing licence certifications to install, repair & test all types of backflow valves
